Hybrid of Uldum

What I believe...

I believe that there are many players in the World of Warcraft that know how to play their class, enjoy playing their class, and want to better themselves at playing their class; however, I believe that many of these players are restricted by real life constraints, and for one reason or another and are forced into casual guilds. While these casual guilds do provide a home for the player to raid on a convenient schedule, said players are not able to find a fulfilling push through content that they may or may not be looking for.

Hybrid has been formed with the sole intent of seeking these players out. I have read of similar guilds on other severs: self-proclaimed 'Casual-Hardcore' Guilds. In our eyes, the casual part of our guild includes our lightened schedule (3 days a week), and our more lenient attendance policies. What casual does not mean (and thus justifying the "hardcore" side) is being lazy, come to raids unprepared and with little to no knowledge of encounters, as well as showing a any type of disregard for the progress of the guild in any way.

If you are a player who enjoys raiding, but is looking for something more progression focused, Hybrid may be the place for you. We raid three nights a week (Tue, Thurs, Sun as of now) from 6pm-9pm PST. Our core has been established of a tight knit group of players, who respect and trust one another, and have raided together in the Burning Crusade.

Hybrid is currently accepting applications, If the concept of this guild is of interest to you, click the "Apply Now" link in the left-hand column.

Congratz to Xerravin on his Legendary Mace!
09/04/2009 10:51 AM by Phatmun

One of the most dedicated to the guild, and rightfully earned, Xerravin completed his Val'anyr, Ancient Hammer of Kings last night after weeks of miserable drop rates on the Fragments!

Since 3.1 had been released, he did not miss one fragment drop over the entire duration of assembling the mace. Congrats Xerravin and to Hybrid for the team effort of getting one of the best, the first legendary of Wrath of the Lich King!

The Descent into Madness
07/23/2009 10:51 PM by Phatmun

Well, after a long stint of rebuilding, recruitment and regrouping from the summertime blues that many of the guilds on Uldum have run into... We finally pulled it together and finished off Yogg-Saron!

Congratz to everyone that was there for the kill, and to everyone that was a part of the progression... each night was a stepping stone to the one before.

Umm lol?

Hybrid brought their A game tonight, and managed to squeak out an extremely easy 2 shot on the Faceless General! Congratz to the guild for a job well done... now it's time to clean out Yogg.

I thought this guy was supposed to be hard?

Took about 7-8 attempts for everyone to understand the fight between Tuesday night and Thursday nights raid, and it may have been a rough one... but a kill is a kill!

And we bounce back!
05/24/2009 01:45 PM by Phatmun

After a few nights with low attendance, and having to take a step to the side and take a breather... we bounce back for a fantastic kill on Thorim and a quick kill on Freya... and even some progression Mimiron in one night! Let's keep it rollin', Hybrid!
